Version 1.2

Released September 18, 2013

[IOS] Requires a minimum of iOS 7.

[PRO] Send messages or links to OmniFocus and Things (if those apps are installed), with just a tap.

[NEW] Redesigned the app's aesthetic for clarity, deference, and a teency bit of depth.

[NEW] Added a bunch of new stickers, including some made in special thanks to our elite team of beta testers. See if you can figure out who they are. The beard sticker should be easy.

[LUV] The big red tow truck sticker is dedicated to Josiah, @ismh’s boy. If you’d like to help him and other kids in his situation, consider donating to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. They’re truly amazing.

[NEW] Messages are now sent asynchronously. This means that they appear immediately in the messages view with a "Sending..." status. If a message fails to send, long press to resend it or remove it.

[NEW] Added support for the new 2048-character-length limit for private messages.

[NEW] Added an in-app tutorial for first-time users to the sign-in screen.

[NEW] Tapping an in-app notification while at the main view will show the relevant channel via a push transition, if possible, instead of a modal view.

[NEW] Added verified domains to user profile descriptions.

[NEW] Emails and phone numbers are now tappable in profiles and messages.

[FIX] Removed the Instapaper web view mobilizer option due to technical issues beyond our control. You will still be able to save links with your Instapaper account, if you have one. Readability is now the default (and only) web view mobilizer.

[FIX] Fixed a bug that could lead to premature sign-out.

[HEH] Heh.

[FIX] Fixed issues with location tracking for places and geolocation attachments.

[FIX] Cleaned up photo attachment action sheet language for consistency.

Version 1.0.1

Released June 12, 2013

[FIX] Fixed a minor cosmetic defect.

[FIX] Fixed another minor cosmetic defect.

[OMG] This app is nothing but cosmetic defects.

[OMG] What were we thinking? Everything in is this app needs to change.

[OMG] Look at all these gradients and textures. If Layer Styles had an equivalent term for trigger-happy, that would pretty much describe our design approach.

[FIX] Removed all gradients, borders, textures, drop-shadows, inner-shadows, highlights, and shines from UI elements. Everything laid low. Details obliterated. Euclidean flatness enforced. Bid farewell to the third dimension.

[HUH] Huh.

[HUH] Where am I supposed to — wait — is this a button or — dang, maybe I should tap — no, no, that's not it.

[OMG] Oh no. It was so much better the way it was before.

[FIX] Added back all gradients, textures, drop-shadows, inner-shadows, highlights, and shines to UI elements. Buttons now appear tappable. Navigation elements appear distinct from content views. Subtle textures and gradients help balance harsh negative space. Welcomed the third dimension back with a warm embrace.

[FIX] Fixed a number of bugs that could cause crashes. We won't bore you with the details. Instead we'll bore you with the ingredients of some ranch-flavored nacho chips: corn, vegetable oil (contains one or more of the following: corn, soybean, and/or sunflower oil), buttermilk, salt, corn dextrin, tomato powder, corn starch, whey, corn syrup solids, onion powder, garlic powder, monosodium glutamate, cheddar cheese (milk, cheese cultures, salt, enzymes), nonfat milk, sugar, dextrose, malic acid, sodium acetate, artificial color (including red 40, blue 1, yellow 5), sodium caseinate, disodium phosphate, spice, natural and artificial flavors, disodium inosinate, and disodium guanylate. Contains milk ingredients.

[OMG] This thing that just got announced...

[HUH] Hmm...

[FIX] Fixed a minor cosmetic defect.

[FIX] Fixed another minor cosmetic defect.

[ETC] Et cetera.
